Can it be removed if needed?
ABSOLUTLY NO! Once cured, Fiber Wrap is VERY difficult to remove, as it is intended for ONLY PERMANENT repairs!
Can Fiber WRAP be sanded or painted?
Yes, after it has fully cured, Fiber Wrap can be sanded and painted to match the surrounding area.
How long does Fiber WRAP last?
Fiber Wrap is designed to provide long-lasting repairs. When applied correctly, it will last for years.
Does it have a shelf life?
Yes, FiberFix Repair Wrap has a shelf life. It’s best to check the packaging for the expiration date to ensure optimal performance. Usually a year.
Is Fiber WRAP safe to use?
Wrap is safe to use, but it’s recommended to wear gloves during application to avoid contact with the epoxy resin.
What to do if PACKET air-tight seal has been broken?
Immediate Use: If you notice the seal is broken, try to use the tape as soon as possible.
Re-Seal: USE Airtight Container: Place the remaining tape in an airtight container or a resealable plastic bag. Ensure it is sealed tightly to minimize further exposure to air and moisture. USE Vacuum Seal: If you have access to a vacuum sealer, use it to remove as much air as possible from the storage bag.
Check for Hardening: Before using the tape, check if it has started to harden. If it feels stiff or brittle, it may no longer be usable.
Unfortunately, once the seal is broken, the tape’s effectiveness can be compromised. If the tape has already hardened, it will not be usable.
Can I use it underwater?
Yes, FiberFix Repair Wrap can be applied underwater, BUT it will harden quicker.
How to store Fiber Wrap packet?

Can Fiber Wrap be reused once a packet is opened?
Yes BUT only if it is vacuum sealed in a few minutes. Wrap is activated by water and begins to harden almost immediately after exposure, even to the moisture in the air. Once a packet has been opened, it is recommended to use it right away.
Can you cut Fiber Wrap into smaller portions?
Yes, you can cut Fiber Wrap into smaller portions however you want, but don't forget that the wrap will still harden in 15 minutes.
